🧩 Step-by-Step: Install and Open ADUC


Step 1️⃣ – Install ADUC Console

4. Click Install



5. Once installed, go to Tools → Active Directory Users and Computers

Step 2️⃣ – Create Organizational Units (OUs)


1. Open ADUC → expand your domain name (e.g., corp.local)



2. Right-click domain → New → Organizational Unit



3. Name it (e.g., IT Department or HR Users)

Step 3️⃣ – Create a New User


1. In the OU, right-click → New → User



2. Enter details (First name, Last name, Logon name)



3. Set an initial password and password policy



4. Choose to require password change at next logon

1. On a client machine, right-click This PC → Properties → Rename this PC (Advanced)



2. Click Change → Domain, then enter your domain name (e.g., corp.local)



3. Provide admin credentials and restart the client

Right-click a user → Properties to reset passwords, disable accounts, or move users between OUs
